We have co-created a Mountain Bike package with Whanganui Tours, The Flying Fox and Rivertime Lodge to suit your every need from Road Transport, Accommodation stays with all meals provided, Jetboat Pick up and of course bike hire if needed, when you are cycling the Mountains to Sea cycle trail.
You can book with ease, knowing everything has been planned and sorted for you.
Whanganui River Adventures and Pipiriki Campground is right in the heart of the Whanganui National Park. This is where, we your hosts, will accommodate you after your long day’s bike ride adventure through the Mangapurua valley, riding along the concrete bridge known as the Bridge to Nowhere. This part of the track is a full days riding of 5 – 6 hours. From here you may want to take a few photos before embarking and heading down to the river landing where our jetboat will be there to pick you up so you can relax heading down river to Pipiriki along our beautiful Whanganui River.
Pipiriki Campground is where you will spend the night in one our comfortable cabins. All bedding and meals are provided for you, from a 2-course dinner for the night. A continental breakfast in the morning and a small packed lunch for your journey down the River Road to your next accommodation stay the following day.
For those of you that want to experience canoeing the following day, we can take you up river by jetboat in the morning and then you canoe for 2 hours back to Pipiriki before starting your bike ride down to your next accommodation stay.
